This track contains a sample from the 1973 film "Invasion of the Bee Girls," which is in the public domain.

Originally, I recorded 12 drones on my Tascam Portastudio. I mixed this down to a two-track cassette on my Tascam 112 tape deck. Then, I routed the mix through the Strymon Big Sky back onto a new file on the Portastudio. After listening to the drone, it sounded too harsh. So I selected three of the original drone tracks and mixed them down to tape. These I sent first through the TC Electronics Hall of Fame II reverb and then into the Strymon Big Sky reverb. Sounded much better.

I found a good line from "Invasion of the Bee Girls" film and messed with that for the intro. Finally, I dusted off an Ovation acoustic/electric guitar and spent a few days hacking something for the end.
